Trinity Bellwoods : Fall, farmers markets and new featured listings!

Autumn is setting in. If you look closely, you can see the leaves already starting to change colour and there is a certain crispness to the morning air. I hope you had an enjoyable summer!

Since it’s the season of harvest, and since I absolutely LOVE the neighbourhood, I wanted to share with you a great way to spend a Tuesday afternoon this fall.  The Trinity Bellwoods Farmer’s Market takes place every Tuesday afternoon, rain or shine,  from 3pm to 7pm until the end of October.  This small but charming market is farmer focused and strives to educate the local community in the foods they eat, the source in which it comes and how it is grown and/or prepared. It is a favourite amongst residents of this bustling neighbourhood and is truly a true sign of the spirit of community that exists here. Year round events at the park are just one of the factors drawing people to this neighbourhood. Proximity to the downtown core, the pedestrian and cyclist- friendly atmosphere, plus the funky bohemian flare that exists in the shops and restaurants that line Queen and Dundas Streets add to the attraction.

Speaking of fall, we are also heading into one of the busiest times for the housing market, so it only seems appropriate to get a little plug in about my latest listing, which also just happens to be in this bustling pocket.

64 Palmerston Avenue is literally just a few minutes’ walk to Trinity Bellwoods Park. It is situated on a deep 130 foot treed lot, with fabulous landscaping and a large covered porch.  The home is incredibly inviting and boasts exceptional curb appeal plus a killer backyard that is perfect for entertaining. The interior of the home is equally impressive; featuring hardwood walnut inlays, French doors, updated bathrooms, a sun room off the kitchen, plus a sunny and inviting master suite.  To learn more about this property, click here.

The interest on this home has been fantastic and we’ve only been on the market just over a week. It’s clear that the fall real estate market is coming full swing.

If you’re looking to buy or sell a home in Toronto, particularly in the Trinity Bellwoods and Palmerston area, give me a shout. I’ve got lots of experience selling and renovating homes here, and I’d be happy to share some market insight or provide a complimentary home evaluation for you.

Enjoy the changing season!

Cheers!
